Powerfull stuff.

I liked that bass hit, really tight. I also liked the snapping in the beginning. Crashes didn't bother me so much, but the static/beach noise just ended up hurting my ears. Guitar was a nice touch. Did you record it yourself? Nice job, I enjoyed it :)

p4c responds:

i guess it could be a little bit softer lol. no, i didnt play the guitar hehe. jst played around with samples :)

Nice sampling...

From Max Payne (just about my favorite video game evah). Seriously though, great tune. I loved the drums. That violin is so good, in the game and in here; reminds me of Eyes Wide Shut.

SineRider responds:

Thanks man. I love that game too.

Naked crash.

You had a decent beat going throughout, but I didn't really like the use of the crashes on their own. The song had an OK synth riff, same with the piano, typical trance stuff, which I'm not really a fan of. The song was kind of generic, but that doesn't mean that it was bad. From what I can tell (I haven't listened to many trance songs) it's a pretty good song. Nice job :)

BBQSandwich responds:

Yeah I don't realyl know how to add cool effects for in between, so I just used crashes, and in my nubbiness I even used bad crashes.
Now i've got better crashes and better music coming on :D
Thanks for the review :D

Great trance.

As far as trance stuff goes, this is really good. It's not one of my favorite genres of music, but I from what I can tell, you got the job done. Powerful percussion, and nice note movement. I didn't really like the stab synth though, something about it just hurt my ears :P. And the bass, while it sounded really cool, felt out of place with the rest of the song. Good job :D

JPLaro responds:

thanks

Very moog-ish

I really liked the sounds, minus the drums, I think they were a bit too, "real," if you know what I mean (our of place with other sounds). They were well programmed and whatnot, I just personally would have used a different kit for this song. Other than that though, this is great menu music. I liked it a lot :)

5/5
9/10

Syntrus responds:

Moog rules.

I agree the drums are a lil too real.

Neat.

While I wasn't really a fan of the bass (drums were good), I thought it was a nice song. The ending was a little long, but the rain sample was really cool, so I didn't mind it. Sounds like something I could fall asleep to. Nice job :)

Anima-Theory responds:

No one seems to like the bass...looks like I'm the only one :(

Thanks for the review :D

Keep up the good work.

I'm not really I fan of heavy metal, but this was pretty good. I like the drums and the guitar, but I'm not so sure the keyboard sound fits the song. It sounded a little too corny for me. Good job though, voting 5 :)

l0vemetal responds:

Thanks for your feedback! Appreciated.

Soothing stuff.

I don't think I've ever heard a jazz song in the audio portal, so kudos for originality. It was pretty smooth, except for that one part around 2:09. You guys played well, and I liked it. It was a little simplistic, but I'll still give you a five :P

CyriltheWolf responds:

Thanks for the five! It is simplistic, but its also sight-read jamm! XD

I know that the bass solo part was pretty jarring, but I had to do it like that, other wise the solo wouldn't have really existed properly. :D But the way I have it now allows everyone to hear the bass clearly, with the guitar in the background.

Wonderful background music.

Great synth choice, it made for a very relaxing song. I liked the subtle melody that came in at about 1:50. Nothing much else to say, it was a sweet track, and I really enjoyed it. Awesome stuff, keep up the great work :D

DjUntold responds:

Thanks man, i worked very hard on this song, im glad you liked it =D!

Great trance song.

I'm not a fan of trance, but this is pretty cool. It started off simple and you kept on adding more layers to the mix, all of which sounded great. I was especially fond of the synth that comes in at 0:40; sounded really neat. Only thing that was somewhat off was the kick. It started getting a little distorted near the end. Other than that, awesome track, keep up the good work :P

DjUntold responds:

Thanks man, i see what you mean about the kick XD.
I also liked the synth I brought in at 0:40, i worked for a long time on the melody, i think it turned out pretty well.
