You may or may not have noticed that I hadn't posted up the album online yet. I'm holding it back for a bit because I was mulling it over and I decided I want to actually make a few physical copies first amongst other things before I put it up. I'm excited to put it out there but I want to do this just right and not rush it.

Are you going to use your other albums in your portfolio? "The Fifth," in particular, is an incredibly strong release.
Thank you ! Yeah I've considered it, but I think for the portfolio they probably won't have a chance to look at everything, and I want to show them some other things that I've done at school as well. I may just show certain songs, or pieces of songs, something like that.
Still avidly following your music :).

Yup, it will be released on bandcamp for 5$ (or if somebody wants to give more they could do so as well).
I know I delayed this album quite a bit, but I'm trying my best to do what I have to do first before I put it out. If all goes as it should I'll put it up a couple of days or so after the weekend.

I'm making a few copies for a couple of reasons. I'm applying for University, and if they look at my application and see what they like, they'll ask for an interview, in which case this would be a nice addition for my portfolio.
The other reason is a bit more personal, although it will probably become obvious once you listen to the album :P
I've got the week off though (study break) so I'm going to ask for some help from my sister.
It would be interesting to actually sell the physical album but I can't imagine it being cost-productive at this point. Maybe I'll experiment with that route for my next album :)
