[Tone Deaf- A Mix]

What the hell..

This is actually better than some regular stuff that has been submitted. Seriously, this is great. I have to ask though, which VST's did you use for this song? I'm guessing you didn't actually organize the notes for the beginning part with the funky synth (pre-made sequence), but I could be wrong. Regardless, I liked it a lot.

Mediocre.

It's rather obvious that there wasn't a lot of work put into this. It's only about 10 seconds, you have the same drum loop going on the entire time, and the synths sounded very plain/boring. If this was an actual attempt at a song, try harder next time, if not... I guess I wasted my time.

Haha, tis okay. I was just trying out my computer upgrade. I didn't really put much thought into this. I'm just trying to discover new things so I can fill up my music. I don't like having my stuff sound bland.

Also, it's Techno. There isn't supposed to be much variation in the drums.

I love ambient :D

The lead reminded me of a game, I can't remember which, might be Half-Life, either way it was awesome. I liked the chipper that came in a bit after the beginning, and that one that sounded like a dog barking was cool. This would be really good for a movie since it blends in the background well. Nice job :D

Great first song :D

It was kind of cheesy, but it's actually pretty decent, especially since this is your first submission. The drums had a cool beat going on, and I liked the plucking instrument in the background.

I could see this in some beat em' up on the SNES. Great job. I gave it a five since you'll find that a lot of people just vote 0 on other people's songs so they can get on the top of the charts to whatever genre of music they're submitting to.

The F-Zero music is awesome, and so is this (kick ass bass, synths, etc.). I'm at a loss of words here... so I'll just give you a 5 and leave it at that :D

Needed some more work.

The beginning was cool, however it didn't work well with the bell synth that came in at around 7 seconds into it. Drums were neat, but that kick was slightly annoying. Then at 1:20 another synth comes in, which was just a bit too loud. The end was a little sudden, and it hurt my ears. It can be pretty hard to get endings done right, and I think I would have just copped out and made it loop.

Overall it was decent, but as I mentioned up in the summary, it would have benefited from more work.

[SR - Hybrid Being]

Thought provoking.

Let me first start by saying this a really good song, but it frustrated me somewhat. Throughout the entire thing I was waiting for the climax, but it never came. Other than it was very nice; easy to get lost into. The random sounds worked well, and that kick was AWESOME, very powerful. Pads had a nice melody going on too.

This would work very well as a background tune for a flash. Great job.

That is some great padwork.

I agree that those are some nice pads, but all the other instruments didn't really suit the mood the pads created, but that's just me. The song could've been a lot better if you completely omitted the bass, or just changed it. The percussion was nice and simple, and didn't overpower anything else, which is good, however they could've sounded better with the right effects applied to them. A nice song overall.

Great beginning, but it didn't really fit the song in my opinion. The song itself was good, but I didn't really like the synths that were used, however they did get the job done. The kick could've used a bit more, "bump." I could barely hear it throughout the track. Other than that, I enjoyed it. It was funky, and cool.

The ending was also really neat. A job well done 5/5 - out of hatred for zero voters (I still would've given you a high score otherwise).

Now that's phat.

OK I gotta start of with the first thing that really stood out for me: the drums. Holy shit, they were just so...powerful and awesome. Beginning reminded me of a modem dialing up :P I love the whole bit where the synth goes higher and higher then the drums and heavily distorted synth (which is simply amazing) comes in. That's a 5/5 for me.
