I was inspired by my brother to remove the 2$ minimum fee to get the album. If someone wants to pay for it they will, otherwise I'm probably just limiting the amount of people that will listen to what I have, which is the opposite of what I want to do.

Here's a short video I made to accompany the new song in the album.

Also check out my new song pedophile.

It's no album, but it's something new. Get the track here.

My song that has been up on bandcamp for some time 'deep sea figurine' is now a 'pay-what-you-want' type deal. Yes that means you can choose to pay zero dollars if you feel like it is worth nothing ;)

The same goes for my other song 'through generations' which is the song used in the game 'You Probably Won't Make it' which you should probably check out on the Mac App store.

BTW I just put up a new song.

So I decided to re-conceptualize my first album 'the fifth' into the album now titled 'factory refurbished'. It is for the most part, unchanged, save for a few tracks that have been replaced with other ones, and the addition of a brief new track (trees & blood). I also tried something new and created an experimental film to go with the new song.

It's priced at 2$ for 22 songs, and I think that's fair given that originally the album was free when I had first created it. Basically what I'm trying to do is get my music to more people, and experiment with actually selling my music. Obviously I'm not asking anyone to get the album if you already have the original one (if you happen to be among the few that downloaded it!) but feel free to 'Like' the album if you have a facebook account.

Also, I realize that I've been putting off the release of my other album, and I apologize about that. It's a pretty personal album, and to be honest I don't really know if I'm ready to showcase it just yet.

For those of you who haven't heard any of my stuff yet, I hope you enjoy it!

Putting up things on Bandcamp

Things didn't go in my favor this past week, so I won't be putting it out just yet - I want to stress the fact that I'm not just delaying this for the hell of it, I want to take care of something first.

Besides that I've started work on a soundtrack to a game that will be released on the Mac App Store. I plan on releasing that soundtrack on bandcamp to coincide with the game. I already have a few very decent ideas. As for pricing, I won't want to make it cost any more than the game itself, so we'll see what happens with that.

You may or may not have noticed that I hadn't posted up the album online yet. I'm holding it back for a bit because I was mulling it over and I decided I want to actually make a few physical copies first amongst other things before I put it up. I'm excited to put it out there but I want to do this just right and not rush it.

Sorry for being a weenie !

Yeah I'm pretty much done everything.

You can expect it to be put up online sometime this week. It's 21 minutes long, there's 8 songs, it'll be a pay-what-you-want with a minimum payment of 5$. Also it's not just a jumble of random songs, there's a theme & narrative that you can interpret for yourself although I think it's pretty obvious. I'll make a post here when it's up!

This is my first experiment with really selling my music as a standalone thing, so I'm anxious to see how it goes.

I've got all the track placement figured out now. I'm nearly done, I only have to fix up a couple of the songs quality-wise and finish up one of the shorter songs. I should be completely done with the EP very soon. I'll make another post once I have a set date that I plan on releasing it ! Here's the final tracklist:

1. the stuff of dreams
2. a distant thought
3. out of towners
4. we are underwater people
5. deep sea figurine
6. the waves are coming in
7. hes Alright
8. dripping red roses

The total length will be a little under 23 minutes I believe.

Just out of curiosity, what do you guys think is a reasonable price-point ? I was thinking of having a pay-what-you-want with a minimum of 5$. Thoughts?
